OK GO!

I spent Friday feeling very unfocused and lethargic. I put it down to work-stress and lack of unbroken sleep, and wasn’t happy with my ability to cope with what I thought were fairly cope-with-able parameters. I walked (instead of running) to the train, got on and almost fell asleep in the chair – no energy to work or read, eyes burning. By the time I got home I was feeling good and fluey.

I dosed up on fish oil, water, vitamin C and Codrol. We had a good meal and got to be at a reasonable hour and the worst of it was over on Saturday. Which was spent with friends lying in the sun and eating BBQ. Too much BBQ in fact (my tolerance for processed meat seems to be getting lower these days), but the up-side was there were a couple of awesome salads and BBQ’d fish. Fish! Awesome! We had a light dinner with Mick and Jo and weren’t up too late.

Sunday was laid back and low key. Nice Moroccan lamb for lunch. Mick and Jo gave me a very generous contribution to the 30th birthday bumpers fund too. Thanks guys!! Finished up with organic veggie soup for dinner and rounded it out with other stuff to make it zone-friendly.

Not good to be sick, but good to be recovering well.
