Fuck.

Best laid plans: Finish designing the HTFU kit, get to bed early, sleep off the cough, get up early and hit the Kew crit track for some hard laps with the Neil and the JPBSECT crew.

Reality: Finish designing the HTFU kit, get ready for bed – not quite as early as desired, but not bad, Fee comes home from dinner and wants to talk, be a dick with blunt replies and I’d-rather-be-sleeping attitude, realise I’m being a dick, talk to Fee for an hour or so, feel shitty, bail on ride, sleep til 6:30, wake up with nasty-ass cough and head ache. Commute in at solid pace. It’ll be slower on the way home. Legs are there, but I feel drained and this cough suuuuuuuuucks.

I do not want to begin like this, but it’ll get better. Shrug off; chin up.

Commute: ~ 28 km / ~188 m / ~80 min
